What happens when you gush blood after sex during 1st Tri-mester of pregnancy?
My fiancee and I had sex when she was 7 weeks and 4 days. About an hour after she was standing in the kitchen and she started gushing blood. It was off and on. One minute she was bleeding the next she wasn’t. We went to the emergency room and had them pull blood and get an ultrasound. The doctor told us that every thing was fine and the baby had a strong heartbeat but didn’t say if it would stop. It’s now the day after we went to the emergency room and she is still bleeding off and on. Last night there was some pain in her abdomen . It lasted till she went to sleep. She woke up this morning and it was gone but she is still bleeding. Can anyone tell me whats going on?
You should call her ob/gyn about this. I would trust them to know much more than the people at the hospital. Tomorrow first thing call her doctor and tell him/her everything that is happening, do not leave out a single detail. Bleeding isn’t a good sign during pregnancy, although many women experience PMS during pregnancy and are just fine.
