id like evolutionary reasons, and how these reasons affect modern life

i think even in modern day life the majority of people still show stereotypical behaviours of their sex. For instance women are still more likely to being the “domestic manager” in the house and the primary care giver to children. Women are far more likely to go into caring, creative or people orientated roles. However there has been a rise in the feminine creative qualities being used in more traditionally masculine roles for example management, which used to be highly male dominated due to strategic qualities.

Women and men are very different physically both externally and internally and these create very different hormones which account for these differences in behaviour to some extent. The greatest example here is the different sexes approach to sex as the hormones released before, after and during intercourse have very different impacts on how the person views the situation and the partner. Evolutionary wise this could be explained in terms of the mother wanting to connect with the father for him to provide food and protection to herself and the unborn child, whereas the father has spread his seed and wants to ensure a healthy progression of his gene by going elsewhere.

Also these physical differences will always affect modern day life as men will always be built to be stronger than women, and therefore women will always find these features attractive in the opposite sex. Similarily men will always look for a healthy body for childbearing in women and will always love nice boobs, bum and hips! But these physical differences will also mean that men and women will always (in the majority of cases) go towards their natural evolutionary roles even with the rising equality for women in the western world.

Last but not least (and im sorry if Ive waffled) women will always learn behaviour from their mothers and peers and men from their fathers and peers so will act in a way that is socially acceptable and be encouraged to show stereotypical roles that are favoured!

How is it possible for a man to hate women but be in a relationship or want a relationship with a woman?

Remember that in the New World Order misogyny has nothing to do with hatred for or abuse of women. All one has to do is expect to be respected as a man. Any christian man who leads his household and has a wife who respects him and children who obey him is sure to draw the label misogynist. He need not abuse his wife or cheat on her for her to decide at any time to terminate the marriage. Any attempts to prevent this will lead to a restraining order and possible jail time, with virtually no recourse to gain custody of his children. These are the “deeper truths” by which we now live.

No I don’t think that “That particular” situation is a double standard. But, I do think that we live in a double standard society “remember Katrinia”? That would never have happen in Beverly HIlls (enough said about that). I think they get a lot pressure from their family and they can’ t handle it, so they find drugs or smoking as the only solution. Others do it because they want to become “revolutionists” against their family’s ideas.
The effect of this acting in their health is very serious, but in their psychological situation, too!

Drugs now, are no different than the younger people, who are now our parents and grandparents, drinking alcohol in the prohibition days. People want an escape from the reality of day to day to living. Unless you have experienced the “experience” of the feeling of what a drug, a certain food or a drink of alcohol can do to/for you, you cannot relate to this entity. Some may see it as a problem, and it is only a problem, if anything, any habit is taken to extremes. Eating, drinking, overdoing it in exercising, any activity all people do in life. Not all teenagers do drugs, drink alcohol, excess living in general, and it is unfair to them to accuse and generalize the whole of being a teenager, that all of them have a problem. kick starting the economy is really very simple. protect the value of the currency by providing a stable long term value. eliminate taxes on capital creation ie the capital gains tax. lower tax rates across the board 30%. these simple steps would create a miracle comeback in the US economy or any other economy for that matter.

believe it or not there are some fantastic men out there, you just have to know where to look. nobody can make excuses for what has happened to you, and none of it is your fault. your brother is probably harbouring some issues though, regarding the father and step father situation, as you probably know, your father and step father would have been the role models for your brothers behaviour. this doesnt make it right though. maybe you should talk to him, him may not even know he is the way he is. you also need to talk to someone (ie a psychotherapist) about what has happened to you, if you havent already, they will help you deal with what happened as well as give you some more self confidence. as for the boys at your school, all boys are like that, and maybe making friends with some girls wouldnt be a bad idea, but be choosy, as you will probably confide in them your deepest darkest secrets. as for the guy who told you to go away, it could be that he had more on his mind thatn you know about, and he is finding it hard to deal with his problems as well as yours (he could have been a bit nicer though). you never know, he might have been the nice guy you are looking for and may care about you a hell of a lot, which then it would hurt him to see you in so much pain.

   Try joining a “support”-group, as in just a group of people coming together having some fun.
   I’m a Christian youth leader, and we have a youth programme.
   I’m sure you could probably find something somewhere that would fit you.

   By the way. I believe everything happens for a reason. Keep your chin up. Stay positive.
   If you get through this, you will be an ambassador for women who have the same problems. And perhaps you can even help them. Let that motivate you.
